Meet the Team

Ginger was born at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland AFB and soon moved with her Air Force family to different parts of the country. She returned to San Antonio in 1979.

Ginger joined the team of Stone Oak Orthodontics in August 2001. She set her goal of being an orthodontic assistant in 1975 when she wore braces. She was finally able to achieve her dream and started her orthodontic career in 1984.

Ginger and her husband enjoy spending time with their two grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, decorating and shopping. She also has a huge love for dogs and has one of her own.

Ginger feels very blessed to have found such a wonderful doctor and team to work with.

Julie joined the team in September 2002. Since 1979, dentistry has been a big part of her life. Julie graduated as a Dental Hygienist from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Since then she has enjoyed working in many areas of dentistry, especially orthodontics.

Jack and Kate are the joy of her life along with all her family and friends. Julie enjoys working in her garden, teaching Sunday school and playing with her dogs Ladybug and Doodlebug.

With years of experience in the orthodontics field, she has brought knowledge and skill to a practice that encourages excellence and a love for people.

Karen graduated in 1995 from the San Antonio Health Science Center as a certified Dental Technician. On August 1, 1999 she began working for Stone Oak Orthodontics where she is a lab technician for Dr. Norris.

Karen, who was born in Indiana, came to San Antonio to visit her sister. She decided to move here shortly after. This is also where she met and married her husband in 1998.

Karen's after work interests include cycling, playing with her dog and all other outdoor activities. She also enjoys cooking and going fishing with her husband.

When asked, Karen says, "I can honestly say it is a pleasure to come to work each day. I love to make people smile and believe we have a great team here at Stone Oak Orthodontics".

Pamela joined the team in October of 2004. She relocated from Tulsa, Oklahoma due to her husband taking a job with Frost Bank. They love San Antonio and have been enjoying making it home.

Pamela has been in the field of orthodontics since 1976. In those years she has had several different positions in the orthodontic field and has enjoyed the role of Treatment Coordinator since 1999. She was very excited to join Dr. Norris and his team where there is a high emphasis on patient care, service, high technology and just down right fun!

Pamela enjoys an active lifestyle where sailing, cooking, gardening, scuba diving and other outdoor activities play a big role in her and her husband’s life. She has a son who resides in Austin and one granddaughter who lives in Tulsa.

Velia was born in El Paso, but grew up in sunny California. She moved to San Antonio in 1995. Dentistry has been a big part of Velia’s life. In 1988, Velia graduated from SACMDA. She is a Board Certified Dental Assistant and went a step further to become a Certified Orthodontic Assistant. She joined Stone Oak Orthodontics in 2005.

She enjoys movies, music and the company of girlfriends. Velia is an outdoorsy kinda gal, running, biking and hiking in the hill country.

You won’t be able to miss Velia as she oversees our Clinic as Adult Coordinator, plus you can hear her contagious laugh throughout the clinic.

Velia says, "Dr. Norris is so genuine, down-to-earth and a good person." She feels Dr. Norris treats her like an equal and allows her to be the best she can be at a job she loves.

Tonya joined the team at Stone Oak Orthodontics in October 2005. She has worked in the orthodontic field since 1990. She is a native Texan that loves the Texas heat. As a teenager, Tonya wore braces & had a great experience with her orthodontist. Two years later he put her through on the job training. She later became a Board Certified Dental Assistant.

She was born in Waco, Texas and at age 10 moved to the Alamo city. Tonya lives with her wonderful husband out in the country near Castroville. She has one Labrador dog named Mocha "B". Tonya’s hobbies include gardening, decorating, collecting lighthouses, all outdoor activities, playing harmonica, and shopping. Boating is where you will find her in the summer months.

She loves her job and thinks the world of Dr. Norris. She thinks he is the best orthodontist for miles around.

Marie joined our team in March of 2006. She has been in the orthodontic field since 1993 and is a Registered Dental Assistant. She was born in Huntington Beach, California. She now resides in San Antonio with her husband Michael and their Jack Russell terrier named MILO.

In their spare time, they also enjoy working in the yard, exercising and listening to music.

Marie is very glad to have the opportunity to become part of the team at Stone Oak, and looks forward to each day.

Kristy was born in the small community of Beeville, TX, and has lived here in San Antonio for twenty-five years. As a teenager, Kristy had braces and after a great experience, she knew she wanted to work in the dental field. Kristy has been in the dental and orthodontic field since 1999. In 2006, she became a certified dental assistant.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Kristy feels blessed to have been given the opportunity to begin her journey here at Stone Oak Orthodontics.

We are very proud to have Kristy be a part of our great orthodontic team.

Lizette "Teddy" joined the Stone Oak Orthodontic team in the fall of 2010 as the sterilization technician. Teddy also assists with taking orthodontic records on patients.

Teddy enjoys spending time with friends and family, photography, fishing, cycling, singing, dancing, and listening to music.

She is looking to pursue a career in the dental field as a hygienist. Teddy is thrilled to be a part of the Stone Oak Orthodontics team. To her, it is more than a team, it is like a second family.

Suzanne has been in the orthodontic field since 1976. She has been with Stone Oak Orthodontics since October 2010. She was raised in Southern California. She and her husband, Steve, moved here in 2008 when Steve’s company relocated to Boerne Tx. Suzanne has 3 grown children who live in California, Arizona, and Chicago.

Suzanne and Steve are now living their dream here in Texas with a house in the country, lots of land, and the two greatest dogs ever. Suzanne enjoys kayaking on the Guadalupe in the summer and making homemade quilts in the cooler months.

She is very excited about having the opportunity to work with Dr. Norris. She thinks he is absolutely awesome and appreciates working with a doctor who is on the cutting edge of orthodontics.

Cheryl joined our team in May of 2010. She has been in the Orthodontic field since 2005. She was born in Las Cruces, NM. Cheryl and her family lived in Lubbock for 17 years before moving to the San Antonio area in 2009 to be at the heart of her husband’s company.

Cheryl and her husband have four wonderful children. Her oldest is a Texas Tech student. Her other three children are actively involved in a Competitive Cheer team. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys exercising, shopping and spending quality time with her family and friends. She feels blessed and enjoys working for such a professional Doctor and staff here at Stone Oak Orthodontics. Cheryl feels it is a pleasure working with Dr. Norris and is very proud to be a part of his cutting edge team.

Linda joined the team in February of 2010, after completing her two years of treatment with our office. She is a San Antonio native, who had recently returned home after living in the Hill Country since 2002. She loves San Antonio and is thrilled to have joined Dr. Norris and his team.

Linda originally was our Financial Coordinator who then transitioned to our office Bookkeeper in order to utilize her degree in Accounting from Texas State University. She previously has worked in the real estate development industry but thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to venture into the orthodontic field.

Linda enjoys spending time with her daughters, family and any outdoor activity. She enjoys fishing, hiking, gardening, cooking, music, and traveling. She feels blessed to be with Stone Oak Orthodontics and loves to be a part of creating beautiful smiles.

Cristina began her career in dentistry at the University Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, Mexico in 1978. She has studied psychological origin of illness, psycho oncology, digital photography and holistic therapies. Cristina became a certified dental assistant in 2009.

Born in Chicago Illinois, Cristina grew up in Monterrey N.L. Mexico. Cristina’s primary role is mother of 4 children (Manolo, Mauricio-passed away in 2000, Benjamin and Maria Paula) and volunteer for children with cancer at University Hospital in Monterrey for 5 years.

We are glad Cristina chose our practice to bring her expertise, experience and love of dentistry along with her great smile and gentle nature. Her love for God, family and children shines through in her spirit.

She feels blessed to be with Stone Oak Orthodontics and loves being a part of this wonderful team. She says “Dr Norris is a wonderful doctor and a wonderful person and loves doing things for others”.

Stephanie joined the team at Stone Oak orthodontics in March 2011. She has worked in the orthodontic field since 2006. She is a native Texan who loves the hill country. As a young adult, Stephanie wore braces and had a great experience with her orthodontist. She attended UT Health Science Center and became a Board Certified Dental Assistant.

She was born in San Antonio, Texas. Stephanie lives with her son in Helotes. Her hobbies include exercising, shopping, and spending time with her family. You will find her floating the Texas rivers in the summer months.

Stephanie enjoys working with Dr. Norris and finds him very kind and generous, and she thinks he has a big heart.

Rebekah is so proud to have been raised in San Antonio with the wildflowers, breathtaking sunset, and all the beautiful sunshine. A graduate of Brigham Young University-Idaho with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and being from a large family, Rebekah loves the excitement of meeting whoever walks through the doors of Stone Oak Orthodontics every day!

Rebekah enjoys spending time with her husband as they explore the outdoors and take road trips.

You will enjoy Rebekah’s smile and love for people as she feels her job is to make our patients ‘SMILE’.

Rebekah says, “I feel very blessed to have found Dr Norris’ team and have felt like one of the family since my first day here”.

Sasha has been working in the orthodontic field since 2007. She grew up in La Grange, TX and then moved to San Antonio to attend The University of Texas at San Antonio. She is pursuing a degree in dental hygiene and nutritional education.

Sasha’s main responsibilities Stone Oak Orthodontics include being the Records Technician and Lab Assistant.

Sasha enjoys traveling, going to the river, camping, and also spending time with her family and friends.

She is very happy to have joined the team here at Stone Oak Orthodontics.

Sylvia began working in the dental field in October of 1999 as a registered dental assistant in Beaufort, South Carolina. She grew up in San Antonio, and after moving away for more than eleven years, Sylvia and her husband moved back to Texas to raise their two children near family and friends.

She is currently in her fourth year at the University of the Incarnate Word working toward her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She enjoys running and visiting national parks. She is her son’s number one fan in baseball and football and enjoys listening to her daughter’s orchestra concerts.

Sylvia is new to the team at Stone Oak Orthodontics. She became the office Financial Coordinator in January of 2011.

She appreciates Dr. Norris’s sincere generosity and the opportunity to work with such a knowledgeable and fun group of individuals.
